Whist highlighting that Sri Lanka should integrate with others in the Indian Ocean region in the wake of the Middle East tensions, former President Ranil Wickremesinghe said the cooperation should expand from economic, security and political spheres.
He said the Indian Ocean Naval Symposium and the Colombo Security Conclave could be useful basis for an integration of Indian Ocean nations in the wake of the Middle East conflict.
