Daily Mirror –
The bodies of 84 Iranian sailors who were killed when the vessel IRIS Dena was sunk by a US torpedo in international waters off Sri Lanka’s southern coast are scheduled to be repatriated to Iran today.

According to officials, 45 bodies, temporarily stored in two specialized freezers at the Galle National Hospital, were transported from the hospital to Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport in preparation for airlifting.
The arrangements for the return of the remaining deceased Iranian sailors are also currently underway.
The operation is being carried out in line with a judicial directive issued by Galle Chief Magistrate Sameera Dodangoda on March 11, which ordered that the remains be handed over to the Iranian Embassy in Sri Lanka, clearing the way for today’s airlift.
